A New documentary for Dj Sounds premiered at Amsterdam Dance Event named WHY WE DJ - SLAVES TO THE RHYTHM.
This new short film is investigating the reality of what being a professional DJ is really like, from the hype and parties to relentless touring and the toll that can take on both physical and mental health.
This includes interviews from artist managers, tour managers, Psychologists, music industry professionals and DJs such as Carl Cox, Erick Morillo,Luciano, Seth Troxler, Ben Pearce ,B.Traits and Pete Tong.
Some subjects of ‘Why We DJ – Slaves To The Rhythm’ that is under discussion are the heavy schedule of travel, creative pressure, sleep deprivation and the social media engagement.
