A Documentary about Berliner bouncer has been announced including three protagonists Smiley Baldwin, Sven Marquardt And Frank Künster. Watch the trailer below.




If you wanted cookies, you had to pass Smiley Baldwin. Sven Marquardt is associated with the Berghain worldwide. Frank Künster worked as a bouncer for various legendary clubs in Berlin-Mitte - in the WMF, in the Delicious Donuts or the King Size.

The three protagonists of the documentary film Berlin Bouncer have been on the club scene for 25 years and have thus also witnessed the development of Berlin's nightlife from the fall of the Berlin Wall to today's clubbing oasis. Director David Dietl was now allowed to accompany the bouncers and got to know them personally, beyond their work. Musically, the whole thing was u.a. accompanied by Tiefschwarz and the band Isolation Berlin.


Berlin Bouncer, a coproduction of RBB and created in cooperation with ARTE, will premiere at the Berlinale in February. In April, the movie will be released in theaters.
